Random Five

Today, it's been about music videos. More specifically, ones that never leave me bored. In no particular order, here are five that I can think of at the top of my head.

1) Feel Good Inc. --- Makes me feel like a child, a teenager, and an adult all at the same time. Yup, feels good indeed.

2) Boston --- I think I'll get a lover and fly 'em out to Spain (or, the song to listen to whenever I feel East Coasty).

3) A Sorta Fairytale --- 'Cause you don't want perfect. You want real.

4) Bad Day --- I just love Samaire's haircut here. And, Los Angeles never looked so clean.

5) Torn --- Speaking of short hair...I thought Natalie Imbruglia was so cool dressed like this. Unfortunately, when I dressed like this, I was called a lesbian. Ah, I miss the 90s.

Ah, life.

So much for the plan to post at least one entry a month!

Livin' On A Prayer

So I went to a spur-of-the-moment Bon Jovi concert tonight at Staples Center and they didn’t disappoint. It was FREE and the guys still can rock...Takes me back to the days when I thought being Billy the Kid can be a profession. It’s too bad they didn’t sing Blaze of Glory though the Hallelujah cover more than made up for it. For 48 years old, Jon Bon Jovi’s skin is ridiculously nice (Happy belated birthday, by the way!). Richie Sambora was not too bad either. He got to wear the cool hats tonight. Here’s to folks with young essence.

The only thing I was bummed out about was missing Dashboard Confessional as the opening act. After all, Chris Carraba is supposedly “my type” (according to some people at least…haha). So basically, I just missed out on my type serenading me by a mere hour. A mere hour! Sigh…there’s just no getting away from LA traffic. Guess I would just have to settle for still one of my favorite videos for now…
